Ooh, first blog, what to say?

So it seems that everyone and their uncle is doing this blog thing. Me not wanting to be a stick in the mud have decided to give it a whirl. But to start off let me make 4 things clear:

1. This will not be a Twitter or Facebook status update. I will not be posting about what I ate for lunch or who I saw on the bus. I would like there to be some meat to my thoughts on this page.

2. I will talk about a wide range of topics. There will be posts about Politics, entertainment, pop culture, anything is on the table.

3. If by some miracle of god i get readers to see this. Then a.) I will take GENUINE criticism or advice to heart , and b.) please spread the word around as word of mouth is about the only way things get noticed on the web.

4. If something offends you an you feel compelled to tell me so, then please take 3a into mind before doing so. But also do not expect me to bend to your will if it is a genuine difference of opinion. As Bill Maher would say, "This isn't the Iowa Caucus."

With that out of the way, I hope that you enjoy reading what you see here and come back for more.
